I worked on the ideas for this improv album while climbing around a bread factory in Brooklyn as it was slowly torn down. Baking and bread making to me has always symbolized grace and selflessness. The idea of someone dedicated to making food for the community is just overwhelmingly powerful to me. So to watch this factory be demolished was heart breaking to me. We don't need more condos, we need more community.
